Move from Open API (Swagger) Integration to Legilio
Replace the Open API (Swagger) Integration for Confluence macro with Legilio, page by page. The macro comes from the Open API (Swagger) Integration app by Toshihiro Sato. Legilio runs on Atlassian, so your specs never leave it.
Where the spec comes from
The old macro’s settings show one of these:
- A spec in the macro body. Copy it and paste it into Legilio.
- A URL, including a raw link to a file in Git. Download the file, attach it to the page and pick it in Legilio.
- A link to an attachment. Pick that file in Legilio. If it’s attached to another page, download it and attach it to this one.
Steps
- Keep the old app installed until you finish: its macro settings show where each spec comes from.
- Edit the page, select the old macro and click the pencil icon to open its settings.
- Type
/legilionext to it, pick Legilio API Docs and set the spec as described above. - Check the docs, delete the old macro and publish the page.
If the old macro loaded the spec with a username, password or token, they’re stored in the page and its history. Change them once you’ve switched.
What works differently
Legilio has no Try it out and doesn’t load specs from URLs or Git, because it never connects to anything outside Atlassian. It doesn’t render AsyncAPI specs either.
